Not only do the courts appear unsightly, the accumulation of dirt, surface water, moss and algae growth will render the surface slippery and dangerous. Courts become unplayable and unsafe. However, in the majority of cases they do not automatically need resurfacing. In many cases thorough Chemical Treatment & Cleaning or Re-Painting will usually be sufficient to restore a court's former appearance and necessary grip. Additional benefits are:

Treatment of Moss & Algae Unfortunately binder cannot be applied independently, only in conjunction with a colour coating. However, binder resins have excellent adhesion and therefore have a secondary role of improving the life of the colour coating. Binder is often used on new courts that are heavily shaded (where coatings have reduced life because of moss growth and permanently damp areas) or heavily used surfaces, such as a school or park playground, or at a very busy club.
